After months of planning and preparation the USAi Old Bhoys played their first official match on Indianapolis’s Westside at Cardinal Ritter Stadium on Saturday night. The Old Bhoys opened their UPSL Eastern Division Midwest Conference campaign against Carpathia FC of Michigan.

The home side jumped out to an early start and created several chances. However, Carpathia FC found the stat sheet first in the 36th minute. Mike Pugh played a long ball down the left flank allowing Dane Laird to beat a defender and fire a shot past Josh Route for the 1-0 lead.

The second half opened up with the Old Bhoys creating several chances once again but could not find the back of the net. Carpathia put the game on ice in the 90th minute when Ryan Williams made it 2-0, converting a square pass from Keaton Levock inside the eighteen.
