The Miami FC at New York Cosmos: The Cosmos will welcome the NASL Spring Champs to Brooklyn on Saturday night as both teams look to establish themselves as table topers this fall. The Cosmos received a boost to their roster in the form of 2016 NASL Golden Ball award winner Juan Arango. As for Miami, fans of the D-2 soccer league should watch to see if their motivation slides or if they are distracted by the U.S. Open Cup.

San Francisco Deltas v. Jacksonville Armada FC: The two surprise teams of the spring season will square off in Jacksonville week one looking to stay within a playoff position. The Armada found out the best news any professional sports team can receive; a new and enthusiastic owner. Mark Lowry was able to lead the Armada to a respectable 4th place finish on the smallest budget in the league. New owner Robert Palmer allowed Lowry to go out and secure strikers Brian Shriver from NCFC and Panamanian international Tony Tayler. The first year Deltas under the established Marc Dos Santos not only competed but contended for the top of the table, finishing 2nd.
