The enter ref for this match has refereed 10 MLS games this year. In those 10 games as a center ref, he has awarded 278 fouls, 44 yellow cards, and 1 red card. Expect the referee to be blowing his whistle a lot in this match.

QUESTIONS HEADING INTO SATURDAY’S MATCH:

How and/or will interim head coach Tim Regan rotate the squad with a midweek road trip to Edmonton on Wednesday and a home game next Saturday against league leaders Ottawa?

Can the Eleven utilize Dylan Mares and Brad Ring more when keeping possession and pushing forward?

How will Indy Eleven combat playing numbers down in the midfield against a Silverbacks team who likes to play 5 in the midfield?

If the Silverbacks use a 3-5-2 formation, how will Atlanta deal with Indy Eleven’s attacking options?

FUN FACTS:

The Silverbacks this week loaned out midfielder, Jonathan Okafor, to Arizona United of the United Soccer League for one month.

Dylan Mares made team of the week for the second time this season after scoring against the New York Cosmos.

Jaime Chávez earned his second team of the week honor in a row after scoring two goals and one assist against Edmonton.

Silverbacks captain, Simon Mensing, was also nominated in team of the week for the second time this season.

Rumors are swirling that Indy Eleven is in the process of signing Guatemalan international Marvin Ceballos.
